The Wonderful Wizard of Song, The Music of OZ Composer Harold Arlen

Featuring Stormy Weather, Come Rain or Come Shine, Paper Moon, Accentuate-The-Positive, Lets Fall in Love, and all the much-loved tunes from that magical THE WIZARD OF OZ. The Wonderful Wizard of Song moves from The Cotton Club, thru Harold Arlen’s Hollywood Years to Broadway, sharing inside stories of how some of the world’s most beloved songs were created as well as sharing rare behind the scenes footage from The Wizard of Oz taken by Harold Arlen himself! Brought to you by a multi-talented cast of five accompanied on piano and brass.

Savannah Jack

From playing honky-tonks on lower Broadway in Nashville, to opening arena dates for John Fogerty, Vince Gill, and the legendary Kenny Rogers, Savannah Jack has honed their skills as outstanding live entertainers. Three-part harmonies and superior musicianship makes them America’s Super Group!

Night and Day

The core players have been playing together for 15 years throughout the Washington DC area, Northern Virginia and Maryland. We started as a variety band, doing top 40’s rock and contemporary music, but soon realized our true love was the wonderful music of the swing and big band era. We made that music our specialty.

Lincoln Trio

Formed in 2003, the Lincoln Trio takes its name from their home, the heartland of the United States, the land of Lincoln. The trio has been praised for its polished presentations of well-known chamber works and its ability to forge new paths with contemporary repertoire Bringing together performing experience spanning the globe, each member is an artist of international renown. Violinist Desirée Ruhstrat has performed throughout the US and Europe, appearing at the White House and performing on live radio broadcast heard around the world with the Berlin Radio Orchestra; cellist David Cunliffe has performed with the BBC and Royal Scottish orchestras as well as touring as a member of the Balanescu Quartet; pianist Marta Aznavoorian has appeared with the Chicago Symphony and has performed at the Kennedy Center and the Sydney Opera House.

The Young Irelanders

Comprised of eight sensational performers who have Irish traditional music, song and dance running through their veins. Although still in their 20’s and 30’s, these performers have achieved more than most people would aspire to in a lifetime. Between them they have performed around the Globe. The artists have also toured as lead performers with Riverdance and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, been soloists on PBS Special’s, shared the stage with Bono, and have recorded with Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones) and been chosen by Sting to perform for his exclusive private parties.

Vivace is a modern and thrilling combination of four unique and exceptional pop and classical singers. Based primarily out of Vancouver, Melody Courage, Tiffany Desrosiers, Marc Devigne and Michael Ciufo started merging their talents in 2010 performing at the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. Since then, they have gone on to tour extensively through the United States and Canada, captivating audiences everywhere they go.
